Dining at Basse Copette

At Basse Copette I combine the warm and personal welcome normally associated with bed and breakfast and self catering accommodation with some of the luxuries and facilities of a hotel. One aspect that makes what I offer visitors to Normandy stand out from many other basic B&Bs and holiday cottages is a wonderful setting within which to enjoy great Normandy cuisine. Besides breakfasts that are frequently praised for being fit for a king, I can also provide lunch and evening meals, and even a gastronomy tour of Upper Normandy.

Enjoy the luxury of having a meal prepared for you in the gîte

I have always enjoyed cooking and entertaining, passions I have been able to develop since moving to Basse Copette. With the help and encouragement of my neighbours I have been exploring Normandy cuisine, and what makes it so unique. Following detailed instruction from my voisines I have learned how to make such treats as Normandy apple tarts to preparing my own escargots. I also take an active interest in sourcing the best local produce – if it is Normandy cuisine that features prominently on my menus, then it is the best of Normandy produce that I choose to use.
