We came for a break and change from the tread-mill and got it! Friendly and co-operative host Thomas, whose company we enjoyed greatly. No longer will be always ‘bomb it’ straight down to the Med. Plenty to see and important history to absorb.

The pool and beds were the best and Thomas was very nice. We would recommend this place. Thomas is a very very very good cook. His chocolate mousse is the best we’ve ever tasted.

We have had another excellent stay. Our gourmet meal was wonderful – great catering on Thomas’s part – having to cater for 1 pregnant non-red-meat eating guest! A second trip without the distraction of our 3 year old – would recommend St Valery sur Somme. Many thanks Thomas.

We have had a fantastic stay, have felt right at home and what a home! A lovely atmosphere and a beautiful location, perfect for exploring places such as Rouen and Amiens. But of course what really makes this place so special is its owner, Thomas (and of course Julian!), who gives this place its life and soul. Thanks for the BBQ and all your help and kindness. We’ll be back. We’ll be spreading the word back home!

The barn was comfortable and provided beautiful views, and a very peaceful atmosphere. Thomas was very welcoming and helpful. There is a good sandy beach at Fort Mahon, worth the drive. We enjoyed the lovely countryside and hope to return again.
