(La Grange) Our second bout of Thomas’s hospitality. Thoroughly wonderful, relaxing week and a great space for 18 month old Digby to let of steam!
We found Basse Coppette on the web as it is near to where we are now working.
From our first contact with Thomas we have found nothing but warmth and friendliness. Staying a Basse Coppette is exactly what anyone could possibly wish for: a gorgeous place in a wonderful setting, with a welcoming host (an added bonus – he is a very good cook) and the most relaxed atmosphere. I am recommmending Thomas and Basse Coppette to everyone who will be in the area and coming to Normandy, either for a holiday, a course with us, for before and after, or for people who are just visiting. Congratulations to Thomas to creating such a delight.
(B&B) My wife and I have just returned from a short break at Basse Copette. The fact that we have already booked and paid for a further break in September should say it all. For those that need more however, Thomas is a fantastic host and nothing is to much trouble for him, he is a font of knowledge on France and many other subjects. The food is to die for and although he has a menu printed he will cook to request items not on the menu. Peace and quiet is on the menu with solitude and lovely views. We did witness the rush hour one day when two tractors went bye one after another. This place is a gem and I am probably shooting myself in the foot by writing this, but at least we have our week in September booked already.
(La Ferme) We have stayed in many places but have never received such a warm welcome and been so looked after. Thank you Thomas for maing our holiday so special – we do not want to leave but we will be back again! Swimming was fun, and the cats were cute! Beautiful scenary, great apple tart, fab pool, comfy beds, lovely location, yummy cooking – what more can we ask for! Plus we feel like we have made a new friend.
(La Ferme) After a week of chaos in Eurodisney, the peace and tranquility of Basse Copette was a welcome change. Thomas is a fantastic host who can not do enough to make your holiday extra special. Basse Copette is charming, peaceful and relaxing, everything we wanted for our second week in France. Thank you so very much, and we hope to be back again.
(B&B) We only stayed one night but we felt at home and relaxed after a long journey. We hope to be back to experience more of Thomas’s home cooking, which was fantastic. Great views and smashing company.
B&B I had a smashing time at Basse Copette. We had a lovely, cosy room and I had a wonderful bed. I am hoping we come again. (8 years)

B&B Dear Thomas, We came on the recommendation of our daughter from earlier this year. What an excellent choice! Thank you for an excellent time – first rate food, wine and conversation in a tranquil setting. We expect to see more birds on the list when we return.

La Grange Wonderful place, great food, excellent to be able to have dinner after our two-year old had gone to bed. Enjoyed having a fireplace, wonder what it is like in summer!
(B&B) We’ve had a most enjoyable stay here. The scenes of snow all around were beautiful – the food and hospitality excellent – all of which made for a restful and comfortable break. It was so good to taste food from the region that was so well cooked – very enjoyable.
